📬 Submit Your Concerns on Property Tax Increases
The Resort Village of Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay has created a fillable letter, approved by Council, that you can send to MLA Jeremy Harrison regarding the recent property tax assessment increases.
This letter gives residents a clear and respectful way to voice their concerns about:

Property tax notices are generally mailed by June of each year.
Property taxes are DUE by December 31st of each year.
If taxes and penalties remain unpaid after December 31 of the year, there is a 1.5% penalty applied each month of the following year.
A 15% municipal discount is available during May- September. October has a 10% discount. To qualify for the full 15%, payments must be postmarked NO LATER than September 30. Discounts are only on the Municipal portion.
Payment options
Payment can be made through the Village office with the options of paying through:
- Cash: Payable (in exact amount) in office
- Cheque: Payable in office or mailed, Box 120, Livelong, SK. S0M 1J0
- Etransfer: Send to rvkmb@myaccess.ca ( please enter your Civic Address into the message of the Etransfer).
For after office hours, there is a mail slot available at our office where you can leave your payment securely.
